Terms of Service
These terms govern access to and use of DockProof. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. What DockProof does
DockProof helps teams organize shipping-claim evidence, identify missing or conflicting facts, review Proof Readiness, and create proof packets. DockProof does not provide legal, accounting, or financial advice and does not guarantee that a claim will be accepted or money will be recovered.
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information you upload, for deciding whether and how to pursue a claim, and for obtaining any permission needed to use records containing confidential or personal information. An authorized person remains responsible for any external submission or representation made to a retailer, carrier, customer, or other party.
3. Accounts and security
Keep account credentials secure and use the service only for authorized business purposes. You may not attempt to access another workspace, bypass usage limits, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected systems, or use DockProof to facilitate unlawful activity.
4. Plans and billing
One lifetime Proof Readiness claim is available to a new workspace without a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable tax. Plan changes, payment-method updates, invoices, and cancellation are managed through Stripe Customer Portal. Unless the portal states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and fees already charged are not automatically refunded.
5. Uploaded material and outputs
You retain ownership of material you provide. You grant DockProof the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that material to operate the service. Generated scores, extracted fields, and proof packets are workflow aids and should be checked against the underlying records before use.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, secure, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as needed. We work to keep DockProof available and accurate, but the service is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DockProof is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service, missed claim deadlines, third-party decisions, or reliance on an output. Any direct liability is limited to the amount paid for DockProof during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.
8. Termination
You may stop using DockProof at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these terms, security threats, fraud, abuse, or legal requirements. Billing obligations already incurred remain due.
9. Questions
Signed-in users can use DockProof Guide for product and billing help. Additional contact details will be published with the production support address before public email campaigns begin.
